Karangkajen is an area in Yogyakarta City which is cozy to live in. Yogyakarta or people call it Jogja (abbreviation from Jogjakarta, old spelling of Indonesian language) is the capital city of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province which is located in the center of Java Island.
If you visit Jogja, you won't feel complete if you don't visit Karangkajen. If you travel around southern of Jogja just drop by to Karangkajen. Karangkajen is located near of these streets: Jalan Sisimangaraja and Jalan Imogiri Barat, Jalan Menukan, Jalan Jogokaryan and Jalan Parangtritis.

Karangkajen also famous with its "Pasar Telo". It's a traditional market where sells cassavas, tubers, and yams directly from the farmers. You can buy cassavas with wholesale price here
